Hon. Shri Piyush Goyal

Representing the Museum of Trees on the international stage, our team recently joined the India–New Zealand Business Delegation 2025 in Auckland, a moment that reflects how far this vision of living heritage has travelled beyond Punjab.

A Delegation Rooted in Trade and Diplomacy

The India–New Zealand Business Delegation 2025 is led by Hon. Shri Piyush Goyal, Union Minister of Commerce and Industry, Government of India, alongside New Zealand’s Hon. Todd McClay and industry body FICCI. The delegation brings together government and business leaders from both nations to strengthen trade, investment, and mobility ties. Auckland formed a key leg of the visit, with the delegation continuing on to Christchurch in the days that followed.

Representing the Museum of Trees in Auckland

Aman Jaspal, representing 1881 Global Mobility alongside the Museum of Trees, took part in the Auckland leg of the delegation’s engagements. Over the course of a few days, discussions spanned several areas of shared interest between India and New Zealand. A few highlights from the visit:

Conversations centred on strengthening trade and investment pathways between Indian and New Zealand enterprises.

Sessions explored opportunities around global mobility, an area central to 1881 Global Mobility’s work.

The Museum of Trees’ presence brought a heritage and conservation perspective into the broader business conversation.

Interactions with fellow delegates, officials, and industry representatives took place throughout the Auckland stop.

Why This Moment Matters

For the Museum of Trees, representation at a delegation of this scale is a reminder that preserving cultural heritage and building international relationships aren’t separate pursuits—they reinforce one another. As the museum continues to grow its reach, moments like this help introduce its story of conservation and living history to new audiences abroad, opening the door to future collaboration and exchange.

Continuing the Journey

With Auckland complete, the delegation continues to Christchurch, carrying these conversations forward. For meetings, collaborations, or to connect with Aman Jaspal directly, reach out at info@1881global.com or visit www.1881global.com.
