The indoor Nature Gallery has display areas for both permanent and temporary exhibits. The gallery has a permanent exhibition titled Tryst With Trees –Punjab’s Sacred Heritage. Tryst is a unique collection of pictures by D S jaspal of sacred Sikh shrines named after species of trees. Tryst with Trees is now being published by Thomson Press, India as a coffee table book.
Nature Gallery
H.E. Gen. (Retd.) S.F. Rodrigues & Jeane Rodrigues viewing exhibits at the Green Gallery. Also in the picture are Mr Jaspal Bhatti, noted film maker, & Mr Satish Nirula, Senior Scientist of Punjab Agriculture University.
Green Library
A GREEN LIBRARY, perhaps the only one of its kind in the country, with a large collection of professional and general interest books, exclusively on nature and environment is a unique feature of the Museum.
Green Classroom
For conducting voluntary training programmes on Nature education, Natural history and Nature conservation etc.
Digital Media Center
The Museum proposes to establish a Digital Media Centre, for production of “green” programmes—on nature and environment. Documentaries related to nature and educational videos will be produced.
Green Conference Hall
A Green Conference Hall will be established for hosting seminars, conferences, meetings etc exclusively on Nature and Environment.
